  1. Clean off the industrial oil coating with soapy warm water
  2. Heat wok on high heat to dry
  3. When it starts smoking, dab oil onto a cloth and wipe over all surfaces (including the bottom)
  4. Should be a lot of smoke at this point
  5. Keep on high heat until the smoking stops
  6. repeat this process 2 more times
  7. READY
